You can be competitor focused, you can be product-focused, you can be technology-focused, you can be business model focused, and there are more. But in my view, obsessive customer focus is by far the most protective of Day 1 vitality.”
Having your e-commerce store customer-focused and allowing customers to self-serve their needs is the key to Amazon’s success. Millennials and Gen Zs are more interested in getting product/order information from AI-based chat tools than support agents (unless it is a complex issue.)
